So Very Interesting..

November 17, 2009

That a mid-day news segment programme (Worldwatch) on RNZ should carry an overseas report (was it the Graded BBC in these times.?) which concluded that PBO was “lecturing” instead of “listening” to folks around crisis-laden talks on his Far East visit.

All the more so (interesting that is) for the treatment Paul Krugman gave like issues in his Op-Ed piece 15th inst. A relevant paragraph appearing thus:

Unfortunately, the Chinese don’t seem to get it: rather than face up to the need to change their currency policy, they’ve taken to lecturing the United States, telling us to raise interest rates and curb fiscal deficits — that is, to make our unemployment problem even worse.

Both advices to effectively worsen US employment problems etc.
Given such irony one could almost sense a speaking-out-of-each-side-of-the-mouth-at-the-same-time syndrome in play — as they say — heh!
